When the recruitment round is completed the company will have 320 employees in Israel.
Advertising platform Sizmek, which was launched in Israel in February, is hiring 40 more employees. The Israeli company was formed with the sale of the DG TV unit to Extreme Reach for $485 million, and the transfer of DG’s online activity unit, MediaMind, to the new company. Sizmek’s R&D center in Israel is the largest branch of the company.
“Our R&D center has grown significantly since MediaMind was acquired by DG three years ago, and the growth of the center continues, even after the launch of Sizmek,” says VP Product Management and GM Israel Oren Regev. “In light of the company’s focus on digital and the growth in the company revenue, we have decided to significantly broaden our investment in product development and sales. In order to accelerate the company’s continued growth and revenue in mobile, video, optimization, programmatic, and dynamic creative, we have decided to recruit 40 developers for our R&D center in Israel. This is a vote of confidence, and evidence of the great respect the company’s management has for the R&D teams in Israel, who are developing the most advance technology in the digital advertising industry today.”
Sizmek is currently recruiting developers in a broad range of fields, including: Java programmers, .NET programmers, QA engineers, DB specialists, big data experts, UI experts, research and algorithms, and mobile experts, for all the company’s development groups, which are based in the Herzliya and Nazereth development centers. VP development Amichai Kidron points out that Sizmek supports a pluralistic work environment and continues to support the expansion of the development centers in Israel. The current recruitment round represents 30% growth for the development departments, 20% growth for the Israel office, and 5% growth for the company. When the recruitment round is completed the company will have 320 employees in Israel, and 900 worldwide.
